London dreams, fails miserably to capture interest of audience

London dreamsLondon dreams, directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, falls much below the expectations of the audience. The movie is not able to hold interest of the audience despite of the presence of great actors and direction by a good director. The script lacks integrity.

London dreams is a story of two friends, Arjun played by Ajay and Mannu played by Salman. They are childhood friends but dreams of one turn him into foe. Arjun nourishes a dream to perform at London’s Wembley stadium. Hence he strives hard to fulfill his dream.

Everything seems to be falling in place till Arjun brings his friend Mannu to London. It turns out that his village friend is more talented than him but not as ambitious as him. Under the maddening grip of his passion to achieve his dreams he plans downfall of his friend. Mannu is being made addict of drugs.

It seems that story of the movie just progresses for the sake of script without any logical basis. Then there are comic elements are added here and there. The role of Priya doesn’t give Asin much scope to show her acting talents. Most of the time, she indulges in over-acting.

Salman Khan acts in his usual style however Ajay Devgan fails to spark life into his complex character. Ranvijay Singh and Aditya Roy Kapur speak a dialogue here and there, that’s it. In nutshell movie fails to show the passion behind realization of dreams and pain when dreams break.
