Lienen new coach at troubled 1860 Munich
Munich - Troubled German second division club 1860 Munich on Wednesday fired caretaker coach Uwe Wolf after less than three months and replaced him with Ewald Lienen.
Wolf, who had only taken the job on February 24 in place of Marco Kurz, got his marching orders after a 0-0 draw at relegated Wehen left the club winless in nine games and four points above the drop zone.
Lienen, 55, has coached Bundesliga clubs including Cologne and Borussia Moenchengladbach in the past.(dpa)
