Washington, July 18 : Television personality Lauren Conrad has taken a dig at Heidi Montag posing on the cover of Playboy magazine.

Conrad, 23, was asked during an interview for the August issue of Harper''s Bazaar why her former BFF, who had just gotten a boob job done, posed for in the September issue of Playboy.

"They''re not going to pay for themselves," Us magazine quoted her as replying in a sly reference to Montag''s cosmetic enhancements.

And she just did not stop there; Conrad also spoke about Heidi and Spencer Pratt''s fame-seeking ways.

"I don''t call magazines and let them know about things so they can write stories," she said in reference to the Pratts.

"There was never an incentive to keep doing The Hills so I could get into [Hollywood club] Les Deux. That was never the point. It was more to create a fan base so I can go create a business and do something I really love doing," she added. (ANI)
