Lady Gaga is the first celebrity to have more than 10 million fans on the social networking site Facebook. The number of her fans has touched 10,673,476 till 5th July.

As per the new research by the online site Famecount, recently Lady Gaga has overtaken the US President Barack Obama to reach at the top spot in Facebook. Mr. Obama has 9,824,885 fans which is much lower than that of the renowned singer.  

Despite of setting the new record she is still at the sixth place in the overall ranking. But she is the only person alive in the list. There are Texas Hold ‘Em Poker, Mafia Wars, US TV show Family Guy, Pop King Michael Jackson above her in this list.

Mr. Daniel Dearlove of Famecount has said that the star has managed to increase her fans in Facebook more than double in this year and now she is the fastest growing star in the list.

Reaching to the 10 million fan base is a remarkable achievement for both to her stardom and to the extraordinary success of the Facebook.
