Kingston Technology has launched a new family of USB data traveler. It has introduced Mini Slim USB Flash drive and DataTraveler 400 (DT400) in the market. DataTraveler Mini Slim USB Flash drive is very slim and considerably small in size. Its dimensions are 1.529? x 0.645? x 0.253?. The drive is available in many coloures such as black, blue or pink with gray bottom casings. It is available in 2GB and 4GB capacities with price range of $11and $19 respectively.

The flash memory product manager of Kingston, Jean Wong said that the new drives will be very useful for the users. They can travel with large amount of data. The data can be safely stored in the drive and recovered immediately.

The DataTraveler 400 Pocket Disaster Recovery Kit can hold 8 GB data and it is preloaded with Symantec Recovery Disk software. The drive is quite helpful in recovery of data in case of failure of the system. It is also available in the 2GB and 4GB capacities. These are available in the price range of $19 and $36 respectively.
