Kathryn Bigelow will walk away with Oscar for The Hurt Locker, feels Quentin Tarantino
Director Kathryn Bigelow will beat him at the upcoming Academy Awards ceremony by taking home the coveted statuette, Quentin Tarantino is convinced.
The legendary filmmaker has been nominated for the Best Director category for his movie Inglourious Basterds along with Bigelow for The Hurt Locker, James Cameron for Avatar, Lee
Daniels for Precious: Based On The Novel Push By Sapphire, and Jason Reitman for Up In The Air.
But the director of Pulp Fiction is sure that Bigelow walk away with the trophy.
The Daily Express quoted him as telling U. S. talk show host, Larry King," It would be really nice to win an Oscar for one of the three things or eight things I''m up for. And I think I stand a very good chance."
He further added," I think we stand a good chance for best picture and I think I stand a very, very good chance for best (original) screenplay. I can''t imagine Kathryn is not going to get it for best director. I''m going to vote for Kathryn."
