London, Jan 30 : British actress Kate Winslet admits that working with hubby Sam Mendes on `Revolutionary Road' was like her `ideal world becoming a reality'.

The 33-year-old actress revealed that she was keen to experience the directorial side of her hubby Mendes, and finally found the script for Revolutionary Road.

"Wonderful actors like Tom Hanks would tell me that Sam was so great to work. I'd be telling them to shut up because I was starting to get a bit jealous," the Mirror quoted her as saying.

"I wanted to experience this side of him and when I did it was as if the final piece of a puzzle of who my husband really is slotted into place.

"I was like a kid in a candy store with my ideal world suddenly becoming a reality," she added.

She sent the script to DiCaprio and he immediately agreed to it.

"I knew there was nobody in the world who could bring Frank Wheeler to life in the way that Leo could, so working with him again was really wonderful. I hadn't realised how much my chemistry with him since Titanic would stick," she said. (ANI)
