Skopje  - Macedonian police arrested on Friday night a journalist accused of killing at least two women in western Macedonia, local media reported.

The journalist wrote about killings in the town Kicevo for his paper "Jutarnji list" and gave details only known to the police.

According to police information, the women were raped, tortured and then killed. One of the victims was an old woman and the other an elderly lady living alone.

Police are looking for at least two other women who are missing. No other information is available. (dpa)
