Jordan's king condemns bombing in Syria as act of "terrorism"
Amman- Jordan's King Abdullah II on Saturday condemned the explosion on the Damascus International Airport road as an act of "terrorism," according to a royal court statement.
In a cable of condolences to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, King Abdullah also expressed Jordan's "solidarity" with Syria in its handling of the bombing that killed at least 17 "innocent people."
Jordanian Prime Minister Nader Dahabi has also sent a cable of solidarity to his Syrian counterpart Mohammad Naji al-Utri. (dpa)
