Jamna Auto on a high! With a view to meet the rising demand from the auto majors in the Indian market, the auto components maker Jamna Auto has recently that the company will invest close to Rs 200 crore to set up new facilities.

Moreover, the company also said that a part of this money will also go in expanding the capacities at its existing plants.

Jamna Auto Industries, Chief Executive Officer Randeep Jauhar told reporters on the sidelines the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) summit that the company has earmarked close to Rs. 200 crore for expansion of its current capacities and also a part of it will be used for setting up new units in the domestic circuit.

It is to be mentioned here that the company will be looking at opening four new facilities in the domestic circuit.

Moreover, the company will also expand the capacity of its five plants that are currently operational at various place including Pune and Lucknow.

There is no denying to the fact that the auto component makers have not been able to meet the high demand from the end of the auto majors as the capacities are not enough to supply the kind of orders that are coming in.
