Jacko ‘to adopt child from Britain’

Jacko ‘to adopt child from Britain’London, Mar 22 : King of pop Michael Jackson is considering adopting a child from Britain.

The `Thriller' hitmaker, who is in Britain for his sell-out concerts, is said to feel he is an `ideal' adoptive parent.

The singer, who already has three kids, has told associates to make contact with a British adoption agency with links throughout the world.

"His life is his children. Wherever he goes, they go, and he has said it would be good to have another child," the Daily Express quoted a source, as saying.

"Contact has been made with an adoption agency in Britain which has a very good reputation.

"It could be that he was inspired by Madonna who adopted a little African boy but nobody really knows what kicked this all off," the source added.

It is being speculated that the 50-year-old has become confident after the response to his July concert dates at the O2 arena.

"He senses he is viewed differently here than he is in the States. Before his concerts he has said he wants to spend at least three weeks in Britain, getting used to the time zone and exploring the country," the source said.

"It is during this period that he wants to have meetings about adoption. He has not said if he wants a boy or a girl, just that it would be good for the family to have another brother or sister," the source added.

However, any bid to adopt is bound to trigger a storm of protest because of allegations of child sex abuse against Jackson, 50.

"Michael feels that the British fans really understand him. He feels he has shaken off the sex abuse allegations. It is a new beginning," the source said. (ANI)
