iPhone scales better! 40% prefer to swap it for Blackberry

blackberry-iphoneAghast with the service to suffice the needs of rising consumer demand, two in five BlackBerry owners are now ready to swap their current device for an iPhone.

The iPhone posed as a new benchmark for the smartphone industry updating the status quo set earlier by RIM's BlackBerry. Since its launch the iPhone has never looked back as it seeks to grow further over the hedge.

Crowd Science's findings suggest that many users generally use their smartphones for both personal and business use. In case of iPhone users the device adheres to personal use, which compared to BlackBerry patrons is just 16 percent.

A mere one percent of iPhone owners use their device for business 'only' as two-thirds of them integrate an iPhone for their business and as well as their personal use.

The survey suggested that the BlackBerry, which is more popular as 'the best enterprise mobile device', scored seven percent for its business usage only. Also more than 75 per cent BlackBerry users use the gadget for dual purposes.

Problems for Blackberry doesn't end here as a startling 32 per cent users of the phone are now ready to swap their devices with Google's Nexus one. The facts and changing consumer mindset creates the feeling that Blackberry is failing to suffice the changing needs of its clients.

CEO of Crowd Science, John Martin pinpoints, "BlackBerry as a brand just isn't garnering the loyalty seen with other mobile operating systems."
