Intex has launched its ‘IN 2020’, an easy-to-use mobile phone in the Indian market. The ‘IN 2020’ is the company’s seventh offering in this section.

Intex’s new mobile phone comes with a long-life battery with maximum stand by time of 25 days, and has non-stop conversation time of up to 7.5 hours.

The company said that the new ‘IN 2020’ is perhaps the first mobile phone in the market having such a high battery capacity.
 
Shailendra Jha, Business Manager- Mobile Phones, Intex, stated, “A model with such a powerful battery back-up and other customer friendly features is certainly an asset to any user. Considering the MOP, we hope to strike the right chord with both mid & lower-end consumer segments, forming app. 60-70% of the whole mobile-phone market, in both urban and rural areas across the country.”

The phone features a Blacklist facility to reject unnecessary callers, and an ample phone book memory for 500 numbers.

The IN 2020 also has a unique characteristic known as ‘Make your song your ring tone,’ which help users to record two songs in just five minutes and set it as a ring tone.

Besides, users can also create their own ring tones without any difficulty.

The new IN 2020 comes with pre-loaded latest sing tones from Tips' Top 20 songs listing, eight games and twin language support to allow menu display and messaging both in Hindi and English.

Available in two different color schemes including ‘suave red-black’ and ‘orange-black’, the Intex IN 2020 handset is priced at Rs. 2000 (MOP).
