Internet site on life and work of Solzhenitsyn launched

RussiaMoscow - An internet site launched Thursday about the life and work of Nobel Prize-winning author Alexander Solzhenitsyn, four months after his death.

The author's widow, Natalia, launched the Russian-language site on the day Solzhenitsyn, who died August 3 in Moscow, would have turned 90 years old.

The site (www. solzhenitsyn. ru) contains, among other things, documents and photos from the author of the Gulag Archipelago, which showcases the terrors of the Stalinist regime in the Soviet Union. (dpa)
