Indrapratha, Dwarka celebrates annual day
Indraprastha International School, Dwarka held its annual celebrations with Delhi education minister Arvinder Singh Lovely as the chief guest and Mukesh Sharma as the guest of honour.
The highlight of the event was a ballet, ‘The Divine Ganga’ performed by students to put forward the message that Mother Ganga is India’s lifeline. Lovely congratulated the school’s founder Mrs S. Rana and Mr A. S. Rana, whose vision has been translated into reality by vivacious students and dedicated staff.
Greenway Modern School, Dilshad Garden organised its 8th inter-school basketball tournament. The host school and St. Giri School reached the final that was won by the host school. The event also included a cultural programme. The chief guest gave away the mementos and the trophy.
KSK Academy Sr. Sec. School, Sangam Vihar celebrated its Annual Day.
The Chief Guest was S. Kewal Singh, IPS, Additional Commissioner of Police. The other dignitaries present on the occasion were Chairman S. N. S. Chahal, Vice Chairman S. Avtar Singh Chahal, Sangam Vihar MLA Dr. S. C. L. Gupta, ACP Rajmahender Singh, ACP Mahipal Singh and (Retd.) Brig. Dalvir Singh.
The highlight of the function was a play, Beti Ek Vardan, depicting the importance of the girl child.
Tagore International School, Vasant Vihar celebrated its Founder’s Day.
A total of 250 students participated in a multi-form presentation of folktales from around the world called ‘Tassels and Tales’ designed and directed by renowned theatre personality Stephen Marazzi. Chief Guests on the two days of the presentation were Manju Singh, renowned Television and film personality and C. Gurumurthy, Director Academics, CBSE respectively.
