‘I go by my instinct’ -Rahil Azam

Rahil Azam Sahara One’s new investigative show ‘Mr. and Mrs. Mishra’ will mark the return of very cool and talented actor Rahil Azam. After a long time the actor will be seen on small screen.

The versatile actor has previously played outstanding characters like the one in Hatim, a rich businessman in ‘Yeh Meri Life Hai’, and lately a person suffering form split personality disorder in ‘Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na’. The actor continues to pleasantly surprise us, as he will be seen playing a cop, for the first time in a brand new show. He plays a cop named Abhimanyu Mishra and Samreen Zaidi will play his wife, Mrs. Deepa Mishra.

This actor always manages to impress his audience through his brilliant acting skills and variety of roles that he plays. Rahil says, “Whatever roles I play through them (characters), I try to break the image of mine built by my previous role; because I want that when people watch the show they don’t see Rahil, but the character that I play.” Rahil seems to be fairly successful in amazing the audience and himself. “I think most of the time I am successful,” he adds further

This spontaneous actor did not really prepare for his role of cop. “Whenever I have been offered any role, I hear the narration and go by my instinct. I want to accomplish the role totally, and thus I don’t prepare for role as such. I have faith in the creative team,” he quips.

After playing many challenging roles, Rahil as a cop talks about his experience. “If you are playing a cop on TV, you can have certain liberties, but one cannot go much out of the order. But I have tried to accomplish my role faithfully,” he concludes.
