Hewlett Packard has launched new range of notebooks EliteBooks 2730p and Compaq 2230d ibn the market.

The company has also launched Compaq 2230s for professional. The Elite Book 2730p is very thin, while Compaq 2230s is an ultra-portable laptop with weight of just 4.07-pound.

HP EliteBook 2730p supports convertible tablet for easy onscreen navigation. It is provided with touchpad, tablet buttons, a jog dial, an integrated DVD/RW drive and battery with backup of 12 hours. It has Intel Core 2 Duo ultra-low-voltage (ULV) or low-voltage (LV) processors, 2 mega pixel web cam, a business card reader software, an in-built HP Night Light.

HP Compaq 2230s notebook supports a 12.1-inch diagonal widescreen display, Wi-Fi certified wireless local area network (WLAN), an integrated Bluetooth and HP 3D Drive Guard.

The HP EliteBook 2730p can be purchased at $1,670 while the price of HP Compaq 2230s series is fixed at $999.
