How about clicking a Selfie to begin your day!
A new app, 'Snap Me Up' allows sleepy pants to switch off set alarms only by taking a selfie.
We all know that the alarm clock sound is undoubtedly the most unpleasant sound in this world. Usually, the piercing sound comes up with a snooze button, which allows people to enjoy blissful nap for 10 more minutes.
However, Snap Me Up won't let that happen. The alarm will keep beeping until you take a clear picture of your face.
Although this might leave you little grumpy, it is a good app to drag your sleepy self out of bed. According to the app maker, the alarm will not be dismissed until a face is detected on camera and a photo isn't taken.
The app allows the users to can set regular alarms and timers (for naps, for example), and a built-in face detection that prevents them from cheating and taking a blurry selfie. Camera can also be set to face front or back.
The selfies get automatically saved in a photo album called 'My sleepy snaps' with the display the date and time. Although they won't be good enough to share or flatter you, they'll be funny to look them later.
The only annoying things about the app are that the Google ads that pop on the bottom of the Sleepy Snaps album. Sometimes, they open in full screen.
To set a new alarm, the red + button can be tapped and a time and mode can be selected. If someone doesn't want a selfie option switched on, he/she can just set an alarm as normal. They will wake up to a slow slideshow of images stored on their phone. The app also comes with a nap timer, for durations of five minutes or longer.
