Leading automobile manufacturer, Hindustan Motors Ltd would launch a high-premium sports utility vehicle in the Indian market. Explaining the plans of the company, Vice-President, Y V S Vijay Kumar said that the company intends to launch SUV in the end of current financial year. 

Mr. Kumar was here in Chennai to attend tie up function with Pune-based Opulent Auto Care. The price of SUV 'Outlander' would be around Rs 30 lakh. He expressed satisfaction on the sale of 'Montero'. The company has sold about 600 units of vehicles so far.

The company is selling around 250 units of Pajero every month in the Indian city. It has registered good sale performance in Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai.

Hindustan Motors, recently, tied up with Pune-based Opulent for three years. Auto Care which would provide value added services to the automobile giant. The Managing Director of Opulent, S Sathyaprakash said that the company would register high turn over rate in this year. The company would increase its network in 90 cities by the end of this year.
