Hemant Brijwasi Wins Zee TV’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs 2009
After Sanchita and Anamika Chaudhary, the 12-year-old Hemant Brijwasi from Mathura has won the Zee TV's reality music show 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs 2009' after defeating the other two finalists Yatharth Rastogi and Shreyasi Bhattacharjee, at an event held at Mumbai, on Saturday (October 24).
After getting eliminated, Hemant managed to enter the music competition again through 'Wild Card Entry Call'.
Hemant impressed the jury members and the viewers through his electrifying performances, and got the highest votes.
After winning the coveted prize, an elated Hemant said, "I am very happy to win the gold medal and to make my parents proud of me and I would like to thank them and also I want to thank 'Baake Bihari Lal' who helped me to complete the journey."
Amidst much pomp and splendour, the winner was declared by Ajay Devgan, Salman Khan and Asin, who were present there to promote their forthcoming movie 'London Dreams', which is due to release on Oct 30.
Hemant got an awesome response of 15,35,380 votes followed by first runner-up Yatharth with 13,73,040 votes and Shreyasi with 11,38,380 votes.
Brijwasi has been presented a gold medal, a trophy and a Sony Bravia LCD TV.
The show, which started on June 5 with 12 singers, was judged by melody queen Alka Yagnik and ace singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya. The show was hosted by 2 little kids Afsha and Dhairya.
