Fun, fright and untamed imagination have been blended masterfully in Hellboy II: The Golden Army; sequel of Hellboy released in 2004. This movie has been directed by Guillermo del Toro, the renowned director of the Oscar-winning film Pan's Labyrinth. 

Ron Perlman and Selma Blair are once again brought together as Hellboy and his girlfriend Liz Sherman. The imaginative adventures undertaken by Hellboy in this movie have given reality touch. The sound effects and graphics of the movie are excellent. In this movie, girlfriend Liz, aquatic empath Abe (Doug Jones) and protoplasmic Johan help Hellboy in his pursuit against evil prince.  

In Hellboy II, Hellboy is working for a secret government agency. He fights with a despot ruler Prince Nauda (Luke Goss) who wants to revive the Golden army and take over the world. 

Del Toro, an amazing visual stylist has created memorable scenes in the movie. The real thrill of this movie can be experienced only on big screen. The movie is worth watching for its originality. Ron Perlman and Selma Blair have given great performance.
