 Hazare refuses to be put on drip again New Delhi, Aug 24:  Social activist Anna Hazare, whose fast entered its ninth day on Wednesday, refused to be put on a intravenous drip despite doctors advising him to do so once again this morning.

Manish Sisodia, a close associate of Hazare said: “Anna has refused to take the IV drip after doctors advised him to take it following a check up this morning."

According to a health bulletin issued by the doctors treating Hazare, his blood pressure has shot up to 140/80 and pulse has increased to 82 per minute.

Hazare''s weight fell by 200 gm while the sugar level reached 106.

Ketone particles (created by the body during starvation) also have been increasing.

Hazare yesterday disregarded doctor''s advice to be put on Intravenous (IV) drip and refused to take any medicine.

He has been sustaining only on water since August 16, when he started his fast. (ANI)
