London, October 4 : Hayden Panettiere has revealed that she came up with the idea of her character having a lesbian romance on the hit sci-fi show ‘Heroes’.

The actress said she suggested that her character of cheerleader Claire Bennett fall for her college roommate Madeleine Zima in the forthcoming plotline.

"I kinda threw it out there..,” the Daily Express quoted her as saying.

“They (writers) put you in relationships and I was like, ''Can I just be with a girl or something...? Let''s do that.''

"So they took it and ran with it. She''s a great girl... and we have a blast," she added. (ANI)
