London, Nov 24 : Footballer-turned-celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has shrugged off claims of a seven-year affair with his pals insisting that his marriage is not at risk.

Though the 42-year-old dad of four refused to comment on the claims of his having a secret relationship with author Sarah Symonds, 38, his spokesman revealed that nothing had changed in the chef’s marriage.

“Everything is fine,” the Sun quoted the spokesman as saying.

“Life is good and it’s business as usual for their marriage,” he added.

Ramsay was later seen posing with his arm around his smiling Tana, 34, on the steps of their 4million pounds home in Wandsworth, South West London.

“It’s time for Sunday lunch. I’m starving,” he said.

Ramsay, who was voted Celebrity Father of the Year in 2006, had met Symonds at the Marriott Hotel in London’s swish Mayfair.

Symonds, who had a year-long affair with Lord Archer in 2001, was asked about her relationship with Ramsay by the News of The World.

“I’ve got nothing to say on the matter,” she had replied. (ANI)
