Girls school, barber shop set on fire by militants in Pak’s Swat valley
Mingora (Pak), Aug 18 : Several incidents of terror were reported from the Swat Valley last evening, in which at least four people were killed and 13 injured.
A basic health unit, a girls’ school and a barber shop were set on fire and a police post was blown up by militants, while at other places the security forces attacked suspected militant hideouts with heavy weapons, reported the Dawn.
A stray shell hit the house of one Wazirzada in Dagi area of Kabal tehsil, killing his mother and injuring five other inmates. Another shell hit the residence of one Mian Gul in Hazara area, killing a 15-year-old boy and injuring four other people, added the paper.
Two persons Sher Bahadar and Mohammad Rahim were killed and five others were injured when security forces traded fire with a group of militants in Manglawar.
The health unit and the barber shop were set ablaze in Guli Bagh area of Charbagh and girls’ school in Sambat area of Matta. (ANI)
