Langenfeld, Germany  - Genius has introduced a new infrared webcam dubbed the iSlim321R. The camera's infrared technology and high resolution allows users to take quality images, even in poor lighting or in night-time conditions, said the Langenfeld-based company.

The night vision technology switches on automatically, if it is too dark. Additional light sources to avoid dark shadows or over- exposure are unnecessary.

The webcam can be attached to a notebook or a desktop monitor with a clip. Genius says the webcam is available in stores for 29.99 euros (42 dollars). (dpa)
