A recent study has suggested that a testosterone patch may improve the libido of postmenopausal women significantly. The research in the Nov. 6 New England Journal of Medicine adds that this libido boost comes with its share of side effects like a possible increase in the risk of breast cancer in women taking the male hormone.

Now the Judges in India have demanded for a pay hike.

The demand has come after the recommendation of Sixth Pay Commission.

It is learnt that Chief Justice of India (CJI) has written to the Law Minister asking for a pay hike, which has put the central govt. in a dilemma.

In his four page letter the CJI wants his salary to be hiked to Rs 1.1 lakh, the same as the Governor.

 Earlier the CJI's basic salary was Rs 33 thousand per month like that of the Cabinet Secretary. But it was three thousand less than that of Governor's pay.

It's good news for those students who suffered a lot in Mumbai while appearing for Railway Recruitment Board examinations.

The Railway Recruitment Board of Mumbai has decided to hold re-examination for students affected by vandalism of Maharastra Navnirman Samiti activists.

According to sources, re-examination will be held in only two centers of Mumbai. Those two centers had been affected by the anti-social elements who had torn up answer sheets, denying the candidates from taking the examination. The examination in other 19 centers were had a regular exam, said a Railway official.

The board had held the examinations at 145 centers in Mumbai, 136 in Nagpur and 29 centers in Sholapur.

A new study has revealed that pycnogenol, a bark extract from the French maritime pine tree, lessens jet lag in passengers by about 50%.

The two-part study involving a brain CT scan and a scoring system, showed that Pycnogenol lowered symptoms of jet lag such as fatigue, headaches, insomnia and brain edema (swelling) in both healthy individuals and hypertensive patients.
