New York, Oct 28 : American actress Lindsay Lohan’s father Michael says that he regrets his outbursts at his daughter’s girlfriend Samantha Ronson.

Michael even apologized for having called Ronson “dark, hideous and a disgusting representation of humanity”, in an e-mail to X-17 online in September.

“I definitely regret all the things I said about Samantha,” the New York Daily News quoted him as telling New York magazine.

“I’m a Christian. I should not pass judgement on anyone,” he stated.

The Mean Girls star retaliated by writing on MySpace, asking him to stay out of her life.

London, Oct 28 : After experiencing one of the most harrowing times in her life, pop princess Britney Spears is all set to go through it again, but this time on the big screen.

Spears, 26, is all set to star in a film biopic of her catastrophic life, especially after the good reviews she got for the sitcom ‘How I Met Your Mother’.

The film will be directed by Brit director Phil Griffin, whose recent music videos include Rehab and Back to Black for Amy Winehouse.

London, Oct 28 : You can call them experimenting or promiscuous, but according to a sex poll, an average Briton has had at least nine sexual partners.

The survey, conducted by ICM Research in Sept 2008 interviewed a sample of 1,044 UK adults, above 16 years of age.

The participants were asked to complete a confidential questionnaire, which was then placed in a sealed envelope. Also, the researchers conducted Interviews across the country and weighed the results to the profile of all adults.

According to the survey, only 20 per cent of the population have had more than 10 sexual partners, reports The Guardian.

London, Oct 28 : Hollywood actress will soon be seen playing a racy American in the upcoming flick ‘Easy Virtue’, which includes a scene wherein she beds her co-actor Ben Barnes.

The flick is based on a belligerent American woman who weds a young British aristocrat, and shakes his straight-laced family to the foundations of their stately home.

The director Stephan Elliot, who shot with Jessica in England, revealed that the ‘7th Heaven’ actress was visited by beau Justin Timberlake on the set.

Taipei  - A city councilman who allegedly incited a mob to attack a visiting Chinese official last week claimed Tuesday that he was beaten by gangsters linked to China.

"They punched me twice in the chest and demanded that I apologize to Zhang Mingqing or I would be killed," Wang Ting-yu, a city councilman of the southern city of Tainan, said in a news conference in Taipei.

He said he received a phone call from an acquaintance identified as Huang Ju-yi, who asked for a meeting in Taipei last Thursday. When he went to Huang's office, he was taken to another room where some 20 men who he said looked like gangsters surrounded him.

Islamabad, Oct 28 : The Pakistan Senate has reportedly condemned the alleged ‘honour killing’ of a girl in Sindh by her father-in-law, while charging that the child was illegitimate.

In the horrifying incident, the 17-year-old Taslim Solangi, who was eight-month pregnant who was thrown to dogs and was forced to give birth to her baby prematurely by her father-in-law.

Condemning incident, Senator Semeen Siddiqui demanded an inquiry into the incident.

PML-Q senators staged a token walkout in protest against the incident, while others joined the protest.
