Washington, December 9 : Madonna reportedly shelled out a million dollars on an Argentinean hotel bill after she and her crew checked out from its posh premises.

The Queen of Pop, who is presently trotting the globe for her `Sticky and Sweet' tour, is said to have spent the staggering amount at the Four Seasons resort so that her entire team could taste luxury while she reached for the microphone in a series of concerts in Buenos Aires.

Washington, Dec 9 : English actress Dame Helen Mirren has confessed that she married her husband Taylor Hackford only because of the financial benefits.

Mirren, 63, who has been married to the 63-year-old American film director for 11-years, admits that she married him only for “economic” reasons, and insists that she never had any intensions of getting married.

But she has now revealed that she is glad she did it, and is very adamant that they will both stick to their vows.

“It was never my intention to marry anybody. Economics are basically the only reason to get married, but I''m very glad I did it,” Contactmusic quoted her as telling Glamour magazine.
