Washington, Dec 10 : Pop band Pussycat Dolls are desperate to work with Britney Spears, after the star's cameo in one of their videos was cleaved.

The `Button' hitmakers were left thwarted when Britney's appearance for their `When I Grow Up' promo was axed by the music bosses.

However, the Pussycat Dolls are still hopeful of collaborating with the `Hit Me baby One More Time' hitmaker, as they have been signed to open up in her upcoming world tour.

"She''s such a legend... She''s making her way. And she''s the Queen of Pop, along with Madonna, and we want to follow into those footsteps. So, we''re excited," Contactmusic quoted Melody Thornton, as telling MTV. com.

Washington, Dec 10 : Actress Michelle Williams says that she thought of herself as `invincible' when she did "stupid, crazy things" while growing up.

The stunner also admitted that her early decisions have made her what she is today.

The 28-year-old star was so eager to pursue an acting career that she distanced herself from her disapproving parents at the age of 15 and left school in California shortly afterwards.

She first tasted success after appearing in hit teen show `Dawson''s Creek', and her fame touched the sky when she was seen in 2005''s `Brokeback Mountain', for which she received an Academy Award nomination.

Washington, Dec 10 : For the premiere of Brad Pitt's new film `The Curious Case of Benjamin Button', the actor and his partner Angelina Jolie were accompanied by a very special couple- the Hollywood hunk's parents.

Bill And Jane Pitt walked the red carpet with Jolie, who looked stunning in a strapless black dress.

And the `Mr and Mrs Smith' actress played a dutiful host for the evening, even declining to chat with some reporters.

"I have to stay with them," People quoted Jolie as telling reporters.

On the other hand, Pitt was looking dapper in a bowtie and tux, still donning his old-school moustache.

He said that the entire event was designed to channel old Hollywood glamour.

The `RocknRolla' filmmaker was said to have been granted to share custody of the couple's sons Rocco, aged eight, and adopted David Banda, aged three while the kids split their time between New York and London.

Butch Cassidy had Brit ancestry!

London, Dec 10 : American outlaw Butch Cassidy had Geordie roots, it has emerged.

His mum was born in Newcastle and lived there for decades before moving to the United States.

Cassidy''s story was portrayed in the 1969 movie `Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid', which starred Paul Newman and Robert Redford.

Butch's Geordie link was discovered by fan Mike Bell, who saw the movie as a teenager - in Newcastle, reports the Sun.

Mike, now 52, said: "I've been from Utah to Argentina looking for information on Butch. All the time the house where his mum lived was around the corner."

Butch, christened Robert Leroy Parker, was born in Utah in 1866.
