London, Jan 4 : Lindsay Lohan's father has launched another attack on the actress' girlfriend Samantha Ronson, calling her "a parasite".

Speaking exclusively to the News of the World, Michael - who has spoken of his disapproval of the pair's lesbian relationship in the past - has claimed that the DJ would not let his 22-year-old offspring visit her family over the festive period.

And also called Ronson a "parasite" who is a bad influence.

He said: "I was prompted to do this by people who know the truth and were tired of people slamming me for standing up for what is right.

London, January 4 : Amy Winehouse, who has been giving her nerves a rest in the Caribbean, reportedly wants to turn to threads to be a fashion designer.

The Brit singer, who has had her share of troubles regarding drugs, alcohol, public outbursts and troubled relationships, purportedly bragged about being in talks with top brand Fred Perry.

Amy, often spotted donning the label shirts, further alleged having put her ideas to paper for the designer.

London, Jan 4 : Actor Matt Smith will be the 11th `Doctor Who' - and the youngest actor ever to play the cult television time traveller.

The 26-year-old's name was unveiled by BBC bosses in a special one-off show.

Smith will be taking over from David Tennant, 37, and is due to first appear on screens as the revered doctor in 2010.

He becomes the 11th Time Lord since the programme first aired in 1963.

"I''ve got this wonderful journey in front of me where I''ve got these six months to build this Time Lord - and that''s such an exciting prospect," The Sun quoted him, as saying.

And current star David Tennant will be on hand to guide him.

Adhyayan Suman has great expectations from his re-launch vehicle, Raaz The Mystery Continues (Raaz 2). RTMC is story of a successful model, Nandita (played by Kangana Ranaut), who is in love with the creative director of a television program, Yash (Adhyayan Suman).

Nandita's life takes a dramatic turn when she meets an artist, Prithvi (Emraan Hashmi).

Washington, Jan 3 : While most starlets find being naked on a film set daunting, American actress Jenna Fischer has revealed that she would rather do it on screen than at home.

Fischer, who had donned skimpy lingerie in the hilarious "Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story" early in 2008, likes being naked on a film set because it is possible to hide all the blemishes.

"In your house you don''t have a team of people lighting you perfectly. They can light your cellulite so you see it or don''t see it; it''s the most amazing thing," Fox News quoted her as saying.

"They can put makeup on your legs, you try on hundreds of outfits until you find the one that looks the most perfect on you.
