Washington, Apr 22 : Plans to remake 1984’s hit film ‘Footloose’ have been thrown into crisis over Chace Crawford''s commitments to teen drama Gossip Girl, it has emerged.
According to E! Online, Crawford is said to be in final talks to replace Zac Efron in the film, but the actor is struggling to find time for the shoot.
He is already contracted to shoot another series of Gossip Girl in New York.

Recently news was out that the makers had approached Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi actress Anushka Sharma but the deal couldn’t get through since she was still tied up under her mentors Yash Raj three film contract. Now the makers, it is learnt have approached Deepika Padukone for the same role.
