London, April 16: Dan Aykroyd has reportedly vowed to make Sigourney Weaver join the cast reunion for the new Ghostbusters movie, which is slated for a 2011 release.
While other original castmembers from the cult 1980s films including Bill Murray, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson have all reportedly signed up for the sequel, it is believed that Weaver - who starred in the first two films - would be unwilling to reprise her role as Dana Barrett.
However, Aykroyd, who co-wrote and starred in the originals, is sure he will be able to convince Weaver to star in the highly-anticipated third installment.
