Expensive earth digger purchased by a three year old NZ child; parents shockedA New Zealand couple received an email demanding NZ$20,000 (US$12,247) for an earthmoving digger this week, which came as a surprise expensive shock.

Astonishingly, the digger was bought by the couple’s three-year-old child, Pipi Quinlan on the online trading site Trade Me, while the parents were sleeping.

Pipi's mother Sarah said in shock, “The first I knew about it was when I came down and opened up the computer.”

“I saw an email from Trade Me saying I had won an auction and another email from the seller saying something like 'I think you'll love this digger.’”

Ms Quinlan told that she had accidentally left the computer logged on when she was looking for play equipment for her child, and during this time the little child managed to purchase the expensive digger.

On the other hand she informed that she was gritty such an incident would not happen again.

She told, “I've taken all my automatic log-ins off anything she could purchase from.”

The Quinlan family is lucky since the owner of the digger is not insisting on the sale.
