New Delhi, Aug 24 : Asserting that everyone should make his stand clear on the Lokpal Bill, prominent social activist Medha Patkar on Wednesday said the government or parliamentarians, who do not support Lokpal is not our representative.

“The government or parliamentarians, who do not support Lokpal is not our representative. The UPA Government is not responding,” Patkar told mediapersons here.

“Advaniji is asking for the resignation of the Prime Minister. He should first clear his stand. We want everything in written and everyone should clear his stand. Technically, the standing committee is not necessary for every bill,” she added.

Meanwhile, the second round of talks between the government and Team Anna ended here without any breakthrough.

“There is no resolution as of now,” said civil society representative Prashant Bhushan after talks with Law Minister Salman Khurshid.

Veteran social activist Anna Hazare, whose fast entering its ninth day today, wants his activists'' version of the Bill to be introduced in Parliament. (ANI)
