Educomp Solutions arm signs MoU with IIT Cheenai, Stock up 3%
Educomp Solutions Ltd has announced that its subsidiary, Educomp School Management Ltd has signed a MoU with IIT Chennai to develop a world class Science Enrichment Program to enhance science education in schools.
The program aims to develop Science Enrichment Materials which would include designing hands-on and computer based activities in Physics and Chemistry based on the CBSE syllabus from class 5 to 12 for implementation in the classrooms, an official release said.
This will include planning and developing problem based worksheets and activities which will make science fun and easy for children. The program also includes training for the science teachers to improve their skills as well as understanding using some of the best materials and getting advice from eminent professors from IIT.
Experts believe that this MOU will leverage the best of expertise of both Educomp and IIT Chennai with one focus i.e. to improve the quality of School Education.

The stock closed on Friday at Rs. 4530 on NSE, up by 3% compared to previous close of Rs. 4379. It touched an intraday high of Rs. 4580 and low of Rs. 4375.
