Distributed Teams To Be United Through IBM Products
With the aim to increase the collaborative capabilities of Jazz, IBM and its business partners are planning to release 20 products by the end of this year. The collaborative technology teams of Jazz work really hard to globally distribute its software.
A press statement informed that technologies which are already using or are built on Jazz can interoperate from other vendors, which will enable the customers to have better communication of data within and between their enterprises.
Steve Robinson, VP (worldwide sales) Rational Software of IBM, reported, “Currently, organizational, geographical, and technical silos inhibit business agility and return on software investments. In a globally integrated enterprise, organizations need to transform how they collaborate to get the job done. IBM's Jazz platform breaks down location, infrastructure and organizational barriers, transforming the practice of global software delivery.”
IBM also informed that in its new software delivery system, the company will be including social networking and Web 2.0 practices. Jazz and future products are being developed by IBM in juxtaposition with the software development community at www.jazz.net.
