Dell employee to face legal actionOn Friday, Dell said that one of its former employee is expected to face civil and administrative charges. It would be so because the person has been found involved in accounting misappropriations during 2005.

The charges are going to be imposed by the SEC. The commission had been contacting and questioning several of Dell's former employees in the past. But till now, none of the current employees have been probed.

This information was given by Dell's spokesman, David Frink. He further added that the many former employees have been served the "Wells Notices."

It means that the SEC staff has already reached a preliminary decision against the recipients.

No identities were released by the company.

The company in its official statement said that it is very much possible that other employees will also be served notices.

Dell is being investigated by the SEC for issues relating to accounting frauds. The period in question is prior to 2006. It starts from 2001.

Dell has, however, said that is fully co-operating with the SEC. But no settlement has been possible till now.

No other information was revealed by the company.
