In year 2007, many new websites became popular. Social networking, online videos, bookmark sharing and online music websites performed really well. Some websites like Twitter became really popular among bloggers and frequently online users.

CoRank is another website which has caught up recently. The website started in March 2007 as a clone of popular social bookmarking website Digg. However, CoRank changed its strategy soon and evolved as social voting host for webmasters and bloggers.

Using CoRank, webmasters can easily host their customized social bookmark sharing website. CoRank has gained decent popularity in past 3 months. The traffic rank of CoRank has gone up and the website currently ranks around 21,000 on Alexa. (Alexa rankings are not very trustable as a small percentage of online users having installed their toolbar, but it gives an idea of the traffic for a website)

CoRank has got a new concept in Social Networking. Lets hope for new ideas in year 2008 as more and more Web 2.0 concepts surface online.
