Los Angeles, Dec 2 : Actress Cate Blanchett says losing her father at a young age made her worry about her husband Andrew Upton's life span.

Blanchett's father died at the age of 40, reports contactmusic. com.

"...  He died when he was 40 (of a heart attack), but I don't think I really quantified the consequences for me until much later, when my husband reached 40," she said.

"I was euphoric at his birthday party, like a weight had been lifted.  And I thought, 'Now, there's the detritus'," added the 44-year-old.(IANS)
