Madrid  - The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) confirmed Wednesday Real Madrid's appeal against UEFA's decision to prevent Klaas Jan Huntelaar and Lassana Diarra from both being registered for the knockout stages of the Champions League.

The Spanish giants took their case to CAS in Lausanne, Switzerland after UEFA refused to register both of Real's new signings together, since they both played in the UEFA Cup already this season; Huntelaar for Ajax and Diarra for Portsmouth. (dpa)
