Canon India has made announcement about the launching of 23 new products in the Indian market.

The newly launched next generation range consists of 12 digital video camcorders, 8 digital compact cameras, 2 Selphy printers and 1 digital SLR.

The company’s user-friendly and compact HF series camcorders come packed with amazing features that includes 6 hours of high-quality HD video footage, 45x advanced zoom, a new user interface, search function, Instant Focus, Video light, and 16GB of internal flash memory, which is offered by HF10.

Flash memory storage lets HF10 to be designed in a lightweight form factor so that users can also carry it in their pockets. Besides, flash memory also offers up quick read and write speeds for storing up video recordings.

The new digital compact cameras rolled out by the company comes with superior functions that includes on face select and track, motion detection and AF point zoom. In face select and track, the main theme remains within the frame, and the camera can easily track it. The Motion Detection feature lets users to take clear pics even if the subject is moving. Through AF Point Zoom technology, the users can focus on one main subject within a wide frame pre and post shooting.

The company’s D-SLR range enjoys new feature named “live view” plus higher megapixel. Canon’s EOS 450 D is a DSLR camera that features Canon's EOS integrated cleaning system, live view function, a strong DIGIC III image processor in addition to a new 12.2-megapixel CMOS sensor. It is available in a kit with the new EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lens with optical image stabiliser.

In contrast, the newly launched ‘Selphy’ printers offer more alternatives for creative printing.

The pricing and availability details have not been disclosed up till now.
