Cancer-stricken Maggie Smith determined to complete Potter seriesLondon, October 06 : Dame Maggie Smith, who plays Professor McGonagall in Harry Potter films, is determined to complete the wizard series even though she suffers from breast cancer.

The 74-year-old actress said she wouldn’t stop working.

"If there''s work to do I''ll do it. I''ve still got to stagger through the last Potter," the Mirror quoted her as saying.

Smith described the pain caused by cancer.

She said: "The cancer was hideous. It takes the wind out of your sails and I don''t know what the future holds.

"You feel so ghastly, you wouldn''t mind dying a lot of the time.”

She also spoke about losing her hair during the filming of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, she said: " I was like a boiled egg." (ANI)
