By taking an educational computing initiative, over 5,000 schools in Andhra Pradesh would be assisted by NComputing. The announcement was made by NComputing itself, which further informed that this initiative is being taken with the aim to help nearly 1.8 million children across the state to get computing access.
Indian outsource group Infosys has informed that it would not raise the bid price of 600 pence a share for UK-based Axon, a move which rules it out from the battle to acquire the SAP firm.

The US-based Symantec, which is best known for its Norton range of PC security software, has agreed to buy web security firm MessageLabs for $695 million.

The Department of Post (DoP) has introduced an electronic money transfer facility across the country that would make remittance of money through the postal route faster.
