Los Angeles - A compilation of the greatest hits of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will go on exclusive sale at retail giant Wal-Mart on January 13, Billboard magazine reported Tuesday.

The 12-track release comes two weeks prior to the group's new studio album, Working on a Dream. It includes such classic Springsteen recordings as Born To Run, Thunder Road, Born in the USA and Darkness on the Edge of Town.

The band is also scheduled to appear in the Super Bowl XLIII halftime on February 1. (dpa)
