Bobby Jindal contemplating 2016 presidential run
Washington, Oct 7 : Louisiana Gov Bobby Jindal said that he was still "thinking and praying" about a possible 2016 presidential run.
According to Politico, the Indian American governor didn't give a specific date for his decision, saying he would announce his decision after the Nov. 4 midterm election and "sometime after the holiday".
He said that the people in the country were hungry for a big change and that there was a lot of frustration.
Jindal added that people were frustrated with the president, and that they were yet to hear a comprehensive alternative from the Republicans.
The report cited a survey that was released last week by the left-leaning Public Policy Polling, suggesting a majority of Louisianans did not want Jindal to run for president.
However, the report concluded that judging by the huge crowd comprising of lobbyists and national media on Monday, there's plenty of interest in Washington. (ANI)
