BlackBerry rolls out BBM 2.0 for Android, iPhoneBlackBerry has just announced the release of an updated version of its popular messenger service BBM for Android and iOS that brings a number of notable new features.

The new BBM (version 2.0) brings features like integrated Dropbox for BlackBerry, iOS as well as Android-based devices.

Built-in support for Dropbox will allow users to send large files, such as presentations and videos, to BBM or vice versa. Users of Android and iOS-based devices can now also use the BBM Voice feature that allows users to make free voice calls to any BBM contact around the globe with Wi-Fi or data connection.

BBM Channels that allows customers to chat with other BBM users on topics of their interest has also become available to Android and iPhone users through the latest version.

Customers are now able to engage with brands or other customers without hany need to add them to their contact lists. Thus they can maintain a high level of privacy.

Apart from integrated Dropbox, BBM 2.0 also offers one-touch file and photo sharing; one-touch location sharing; and more than one hundred new emoticons that will help say what you can not express in words. BBM 2.0 is compatible with Android 4.0 or above and with iPhones having iOS version 6 or above.
