Over the last many years, Plastic has become an important part of human society. But this technology has become a bad omen for the human now-a-days, because plastics are polymers that cannot be destroyed by nature. Huge deposits of plastics are increasing in form of garbage.

But now there is good news to cheer up. Very soon we will buy artificial flower vase produced from feathers. Tons of chicken feathers that are wasted will now be used in manufacturing plastics. Yes, biodegradable plastic can be made out of bird feathers. This amazing new technology is going to revolutionize the modern plastics business. U. S. rooster industries generate almost 2,000 metric tons of chicken feathers yearly.

Some are used to build cushion, overcoat and cheap animal rations. But 80% of the whole amount is wasted out. This scenario will not last for longer time, because it is feasible to change those chicken feathers into biodegradable plastics.

Masud Huda, A scientist from US Department of Agriculture was experimenting on convenient uses of unnecessary chicken feathers. He formed art paper, bathroom tissues, water and air filters, and insulators from all types of feathers.
