Washington, Sept 21: Actress Billie Piper slammed all the rumors about her return to sci-fi series ‘Doctor Who’.

But she did say that she may make a surprise return to the show some day.

The actress left the show after 27 episodes acting as the doctor's assistant ‘Rose Tyler’.

"A friend of mine told me he'd read about that. It's news to me,” Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.

“ I think I'd find it very hard to play Rose Tyler again, but I don't rule out a return to the show in some form or another at some point in the future,” she said.

Currently she is starring as a London prostitute ‘Belle De Jour’ in a new eight-part ITV2 drama, The Secret Diary Of A Call Girl. (With inputs from ANI)
