With each passing day, the prayers are growing enormously worldwide and so is the recovery of one of the finest actor that Bollywood beholds. Amitabh Bachchan who was hospitalized on his 66th birthday at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai following abdominal pain is now on the way to recovery.

While some speculate that growing age is the reason and that he needs to slow down on his workload as doing around 67 projects that include narrations and guest appearances over the last decade is no mean task for a person of his age. With his counterparts, Salman and Shahrukh Khan doing 46 and 42 projects respectively in the same period as compared to Big B's phenomenal activity, one can imagine the amount of workload he is undertaking when most of the stars of his age like Rajesh Khanna, Shatrugan Sinha and the like have retired or slowed down quite a lot.

But there is no downfall in the actor's zeal who is on verge of recovery, says the hospital officials "Doctors continue to be pleased with his progress. He is in constant conversation with his family, who are by his side throughout.'' There is no doubt on the support fans and the film fraternity are rendering upon him as recently actors Aamir Khan and Preity Zinta visited the ailing Bachchan and Khan reportedly gifted him some books while the fans were seen outside the hospital praying for the actor's recovery.

The hospital authorities have not yet clarified the date of his discharge, but revealed that the actor was grateful to his fans and conveyed his gratitude for their food wishes and prayers. Family members are taking constant care and it is likely that we will be able to catch Big B soon be in action.
